Terms of Service & Community Guidelines
Welcome to REMO World. By creating a Citizen Account, browsing 4D city maps, listening to world radio, or submitting content, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Eligibility & Age Requirement (13+ / 16+ EU)
You must be at least 13 years old (or at least 16 years old if you reside in the European Union or jurisdictions where digital consent requires higher age limits) to create an account or participate on REMO World.
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this minimum age requirement and have full legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Community Guidelines & Zero-Tolerance Policy
REMO World is an international community celebrating world cities, architecture, local music, and cultural discovery. We enforce a strict Zero-Tolerance Policy against malicious behavior:
- Hate speech, racism, xenophobia, religious discrimination, or attacks based on sexual orientation or disability.
- Harassment, threats, cyberbullying, doxxing, or defamation against any citizen.
- Pornography, sexually explicit imagery, violent depictions, or illegal activities.
- Spam, automated bots, fake votes, auto-clickers, or artificial inflation of city war scores.
- Impersonation of REMO founders, city mayors, administrators, or other citizens.
Admin Moderation Rights: The REMO Founder and administrative team reserve the unilateral right to remove non-compliant content, revoke virtual rewards, and permanently ban offending accounts or IP ranges without prior notice.
3. Your Content & Intellectual Property License
You retain full copyright: You own all photographs, audio tracks, digital artwork, and captions you post on REMO World.
Platform Display License: By publishing content to public city feeds, you grant REMO World a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, translate, format, and feature your moments across the 3D Interactive Globe, city radar streams, and social feeds for as long as your content remains active. You can delete your content at any time.
4. Virtual Economy & REMO Gold Coins (🪙)
REMO Gold Coins, Citizen Badges, and Virtual City Cards are purely digital entertainment utilities designed for gamification and exploration. They have zero monetary cash value, cannot be redeemed for legal tender, cannot be cashed out, and do not constitute an investment, cryptocurrency, security, or gambling mechanism.
REMO World reserves the right to adjust virtual token mechanics, daily challenge rewards, and shop catalog pricing to maintain game balance and integrity.
5. Geolocation Privacy & Citizen Proximity
We respect your real-world privacy. REMO World does not perform continuous background GPS tracking. Geolocation features are governed strictly as follows:
- City-Level Verification: The platform only checks if your device is within the broad metropolitan perimeter (~35 km radius) of a city to award local resident badges.
- Precise GPS Coordinates: Your exact street address or coordinates are never published unless you explicitly toggle the optional GPS seal when minting a 3D city card.
6. Account Termination & Right to be Forgotten
You may terminate your account at any time. Under our Privacy Policy and GDPR / Law 25 compliance, you can click "Delete My Account & Personal Data" in your Citizen Passport settings to permanently purge your profile, collected cards, and posts from our servers.
7. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
REMO World is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, REMO World and its founders disclaim all liability for indirect, incidental, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the platform, third-party radio streams, or user-generated content.
8. Contact & Governance
For legal inquiries, copyright claims (DMCA), or community moderation requests, contact the administration at admin@remoworld.com or via the official Creator Studio.
